Dear Captain Arnold,

We were very happy to receive our marriage certificate and vows yesterday in the mail. We had a fantastic time in New York for the wedding and were so lucky with the weather in the end. We would like to thank you so much for our amazing ceremony. Organizing everything via email from Switzerland was a little nerve wracking but on the day you had organized everything so perfectly and, as you told me, took all the stress out of the day! The Ladies Pavilion was such a great location for the ceremony and luckily as you had sorted out the permit we were able to kick those people out who were having their picnic! Although they took it very well :o) I think the ceremony was far more than we ever imagined, the words were very heartfelt and you spoke from your experience of 53 years of marriage, and also injected a bit of humour which was great. The vows were really perfect and encompassed everything we wanted to say to each other so we will really cherish them. All of our guests loved the ceremony and one couple in particular fell in love with New York so maybe we can persuade them to follow in our footsteps…you can be sure they will be in contact with you if they do!

Hello Captain Arnold,

I wanted to send you this letter of gratitude for the beautiful ceremony you performed for us and our family on the Skyline Princess. I don’t even know if I could find the appropriate words for how you made all of us feel that day. Your words and humor touched not only John and I, but also our sons and daughter-in-laws, who were all married just recently themselves. When I saw their hands reach for each other, and tears flow from my husband’s eyes, for the 1st time ever, I couldn’t help but feel the overwhelming feeling of love in the room, and could not contain the tears myself, either . From the moment we saw the Trumpeter Swan upon entering the ship, to the personalized details you gave in not only the ceremony words, but the dedication to those who could not be present, to one of my favorite songs in the whole world, and the cake you had made for us in our colors. You surprised us tremendously with your magic at our table, and the making of the pearl poodles for all the ladies was one of my favorite parts. You made our night truly special! I can’t believe how much you touched all of us at that ceremony that night, especially John, who I have never seen tears from before. Your words had a huge impact on him, and he will never forget you. I, personally, will always be thankful to you for all you have given us through wisdom, and words of love. You truly are a unique man, and I thank you a million times over!! Words cannot begin to express how much we enjoyed our wedding ceremony. The vows completely captured our commitment to our relationship and dreams for our marriage while giving us a good laugh along the way. I have never been to a wedding nor heard of a wedding in which the Bride and Groom, family and friends have expressed to me how wonderful a time they had. Your set up of the wedding chapel was very nice and my daughter looked stunning walking down the aisle. I loved it when you told Vincent to go get his bride! The ceremony was very well done.

As far as the reception, you and your crew did an outrageous job in decorating with my daughter’s colors, red and white along with the food and cake, it was all superb! My sincere thanks go out to your bridal coordinator Allison as well. She was right there making sure the bride and groom were guided into each event and she took care of my needs as well. She was fabulous.

The excitement of the wedding and the cruise along the New York skyline and seeing the wonderful Statue of Liberty just put this wedding over the top. I have been talking about my daughter’s wedding since her special day and I would highly recommend the Skyline Princess Cruise Line.

Whatever time of the day it is we hope it’s all good for you, because your are the best and we sincerely thank you for our amazing wedding ceremony, we knew NCL (Norwegian Cruise Lines) provided a wedding Officiant with our purchased wedding package but we had no idea who that would be, we even decided to have someone personal, but no one we knew was available for a Sunday wedding so prayed on it and left it in God’s hands,

A complete stranger to us before this day instantly became like family to us, what a humble individual you are, we thank God for answering our prayers, for you and your wonderful services.

It was a nothing short of a blessing that you were the one who married Eddie and I. Planning a wedding has its difficulties and obstacles but when it comes down to it, who a couple chooses to be up at the altar with them to lead such a special union is first and foremost the most important part of it all.
