Dear Captain Arnold,

We just wanted to take a moment and thank you for the part you played in making our wedding day so special. Many of our guests told me that our ceremony was the best they had ever attended. It was a real hardship for Bruce’s mom to come to the wedding, but after the ceremony she told me that she would never have forgiven herself if she had missed such a beautiful service. As you know, you were recommended to us by the managerial staff at the Gatsby. Once I spoke to you, I was confident that you were going to do the right job for us. I know our ceremony was a little unique because it was a second marriage for both of us, and we both come from different religous backgrounds. As I had expressed to you, the goal of our wedding was to have our close friends and family celebrate with us as we formalized an eleven year relationship. We wanted our event to be memorable and fun. You gave us that and more. Your words completely captivated the audience. People laughed, couples held hands and I think we all took a few minutes to reflect on the true meaning of love. I think the addition of the unity candle and wine ceremonies brought an element of spirituality to the ceremony that was appreciated by all faiths.You told me to trust you to pick out beautiful vows that would make our ceremony special. You certainly lived up to your promise. I especially appreciated the fact that you sent us a copy of them as a keepsake. You are a true professional who clearly loves what he does. We are so glad that we chose you to play this very special role in our lives. Thank you for a day that was everything we wanted it to be.

Thank you for the nice card. I apologize for not emailing you sooner. Dominic and I are doing well. We are very happy. I wanted to take the time to let you know that you made our day come true. Your service was wonderful. Your kind words and caring thoughts were amazing. My friends and family are still talking about the wonderful job you did. I can honestly say there was not a dry eye in Beckwith Pointe that day. Dominic and I have now been married for 2 great months and I would do it all over again and not make one single change. You are a wonderful man who made our day very beautiful with you kind words. Hi Captain Arnold,

Emiko and I have received your package with the copy of vows, license and the wonderful picture of the three of us. We couldn’t agree more that the day was “fairy tale” perfect, and so many people commented to us that your ceremony was excellent. My mom thinks you’re the greatest!

You brought a natural solemnity to our wedding, yet kept it light with your gentle humor. Your words of advice to us in the ceremony were wise and well considered. You have an orator’s voice, and a stately demeanor. You brought dignity to our affair.

The ceremony itself was beautifully written, and several people told me later that my mom was crying like a baby by the end of it. (so at last I finally did something right!) Your Unity Candle Ceremony in our wedding was perfect then and provides us now with a lovely remembrance in the future.
