    Dear Captain Arnold,

Thank you so much for the beautiful wedding ceremony you performed for us on April 21, 2007. The ceremony was so special and so unique. The words you spoke truly touched us as well as our guests. Your words were very inspirational and touched our lives forever. When I was looking for an officiate for our wedding, I searched the internet and found you! I was immediately drawn to your very informative website and beautiful references. I knew from the first email I sent you, that I wanted to have you perform our ceremony. Every email and phone conversation we exchanged gave me a sense of calmness and security that we were in good hands. You exceeded our expectations! Even the hosts at the Channel Club told us “you are the most efficient officiate they had ever worked with.” After the ceremony, our guests could not stop talking about “the Captain” and where did I find you. People are still talking about how that was the best ceremony they have ever been too and one they actually enjoyed sitting through!

Thank you so much for the beautiful sand ceremony and rose ceremony. Mike especially truly appreciated your including his mom as if she was standing on the dock with us. It was very important to us to honor our loved ones who could not be there with us on our special day! Having their names read aloud really meant a great deal to us as they were truly missed, but we know they were watching over us!

There are not enough words to describe how much we treasured our ceremony – it is definitely a memory we will cherish forever! Thank you, Captain Arnold, from the bottom of our hearts, for giving us a ceremony we and our loved ones, will remember forever. You are truly a special person and we were so lucky to have shared the most important day of our lives with you.

    Love,

    Heather and Michael Hiel

    Hi Captain Arnold,

We just arrived back from our honeymoon yesterday and we are still talking about the incredible wedding that we had. It truly was a dream come true. The ceremony was breath taking and your words touched us deeply. We are going to write you a note this week and will get it out in the mail. I just wanted to touch base with you now that we are back and let you know that a note is definitely headed your way.

Thanks again for giving us an incredible ceremony.

    Jeremiah and Laine Nakfoor

    ***Their Note***

    Captain Arnold,

We always had dreams and visions of the perfect wedding in our head and it became a reality for us on March 17th. Your Ceremony was once of the big reasons why. The combination of your grace, comedy and beautiful words gave us a day we will never forget. We truly felt like you understood the love that we have for each other and you conveyed it so beautifully.

We will carry the advice that you gave us forever and cherish each other every day. So many of our guests told us that it was the most amazing ceremony they had ever been to, and we couldn’t agree more. Thank you so much for helping to give us such a beautiful day!

    Dear Captain Arnold,

To say that your ceremony was special – from the opening love song you recommended, to the moment Lou and I said ‘I do’ – does not even begin to express the beauty of your words. Inspiring, thought provoking, sincere and with conviction are just a few expressions that instantly come to mind.

You told us that many of our guests would be moved by your words. They were, and so were we! Your ‘Ceremonial Wedding Creation’ gives new meaning to the word ‘Special’. You are one of a kind, your words of wisdom are also ‘one of a kind’, but they are meant for everyone. May we all listen well.

    Affectionately,
    Judy and Lou

    To Captain Arnold,

There are no words that can be written or expressed that can be compared to the words you shared at our wedding.

Almost the entire night all everyone was able to speak about was the ceremony you performed and the words you spoke.

You helped make this day very special for us, and a ceremony our daughter will always remember for the rest of her life. We are forever grateful to you.

The 2 years we waited from the day we first spoke was well worth it.

Thank You again for being part of this special day in all of our lives.

    Hello Capt. Arnold,

Agnes and myself would like to thank you for our memorable December 29th wedding ceremony at the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park New York.

The beautiful words you spoke in front of us and our friends made us both almost teary eyed. It was a dream come true from beginning of the event to the end at the Tavern on the Green.

Just a beautiful day for both of us and for our friends to remember.

    Dearest Capt. Arnold.

Thank you so very much for the letter you sent to us – It was so great to have both the picture of all of us 3 together, and also to have our wedding vows. It is always a joy to read it over and over again 🙂

Also, thank you for the Christmas card you sent us:-)

About the ceremony, despite all that we had to go through, before we could get married, it was the best day in both of our lives. Even you must have thought: wonder if she had gotten cold feet or such??… 1 ½ hours is a loooooooooong time to wait….;-)

I felt so bad that it all went that wrong with the limo driver, and that it made all of you stand out there in the cold and not being able to do anything but wait…. We can’t thank you enough, that you still had the time to perform our ceremony. It was such a nice ceremony, and you where just the perfect one to perform it for us.

We seriously couldn’t have chosen a better person, than you, to perform it for us. It is us, who thank you for letting us be a part of your life, even though it was brief. We are more sure about being together now, than ever. We both believe, there’s a reason for everything, and the reason would, without a doubt, be that we had to prove to each other, that this was really what we wanted. You know how people say, when you get married, nothing changes. We were of that opinion too…. But we both feel that something has changed, and that is, that we both feel even stronger connected now, than ever before. Our love for each other is growing stronger and more powerful for every day that goes by! We are so happy that we got married, and did it in New York.

It will forever be in our hearts and spirits. Both you and New York!

    Thank you once again!

With all the love and respect
    Stina and Bo

    Dear Captain Arnold,

Firstly sorry to have taken so long to get in touch with you, it has been one long round of either visiting people or having them visit us since we returned from NY. Finally it is just me, Mark, four dogs, two cats and I am able to sit at this machine and write my thank yous.

What a brilliant day we had. The sun shone, as you said, ordered especially and everything was just perfect. Thank you for all of the help that you gave to us prior to the wedding. It was very helpful to a strange but pleasant English lady to have a real live American, with all of the answers at the end of e-mail! We loved the vows that you had written, but I was disappointed that Mark did not agree to give me his wallet, now and forever!

Clive, who is one of my dearest friends thought that that you were amazing. Clive kept commenting that you were VFM (value for money) which believe me, is a complement of the highest order and only given to people who truly deserve it.

Thank you also for entertaining us all in the restaurant. Very magical that was!

We have today received the marriage licence along with the copy of the vows that we made. That was very special and is something that we will definitely keep in pride of place.

Finally, attached are a few photographs from the day. I love the one of you and Clive. Sal, our driver, actually took us back to the airport, he was also full of praise for you and really like the fact that you took the trouble to keep him company whilst the photographs were being taken.

All the very best to you and your’s, enjoy your 50th wedding anniversary celebrations, have a wonderful 2007 and please keep in touch.

    Much love
    Em & Mark

AND A NOTE FROM JENNIFER’S MOM
    Dear Captain Arnold,

I wanted to write and thank you for the important role that you played in making Jennifer and Billy's wedding a very special event. Your sensitive stlye and kindness was evident and appreciated by everyone in the chapel. Your insight into marriage and the advice you provided, will surely help guide them for a lifetime. Each part of the ceremony was heartfelt and meaningful for not only the bride and groom, but for all the guests. As the mother of the bride my heart was filled with so many emotions. Listening to the ceremony touched my heart in a way that I will hold dear forever. All of my friends and family came to me during the evening to tell me how wonderful the ceremony was, and how special you were. The perfect combination of your sweetness, sensitivity and humor made the ceremony absolutely perfect. I feel so fortunate that you married the children. The message you provided, gave them a wonderful beginning on the journey of marriage and a life together. Thanks again for making the wedding such a fabulous event.

    Fondly

    Dear Captain Arnold,

We wanted to thank you again for the beautiful and memorable ceremony you conducted for our wedding. Your adaptability is amazing.

We wanted something very small and intimate, and although you are probably used to doing much larger and elaborate weddings, you were able to create a magical feeling right in our small living room.

Your ceremony combined the best elements of formality and informality, both touching and humorous, and we thank you for blessing us with these wonderful memories.

We were truly inspired, and we can only hope that our marriage lasts as long as has yours, with your lovely wife Sheila.

We are grateful for your kindness and strength.

    Sincerely,
    Naima & Jeremy Rocklin
