Dear Captain Arnold,

I think Chris and I knew when we first contacted you via the internet and then on the phone that you would be the only choice for our Chaplain.

Your broad personality, humor, and deep feeling were the perfect combination for the person we chose to marry us.

Chris and I both feel that we have married each other’s other half. Humor, deep feeling, and respect for each other’s personalities have been the foundation of our relationship since the day we met.

You promised a ceremony we would remember and indeed it was quite memorable.

This note comes with great thanks and great joy in having had you marry us. We look forward to fifty years like you have had with your lady.
