Dear Captain Arnold,
Thank you so much for making our special day just perfect! Your eloquence, your wisdom, your caring and, most importantly, your humor created a nuptial Central Park memory we will always cherish. True to your profession, you did not forget to advise us on how to keep a steady course when the seas get rough; we do appreciate that for our wedding, though, you put in a good word with Poseidon, making sure that there would be no rain!
While striking the perfect balance between solemnity and joyfulness, your style was as smooth and professional as if you had been officiating at weddings all your life, but your enthusiasm for our happiness was as genuine, heartfelt and sweet as if we had been the very first couple ever to get hitched by you.
With you as the skipper who sent us on our journey through life, we know it will be a voyage as boundless and marvelous as that enormous love in our hearts which is–and always will be–the anchor of our togetherness.
May peace, love and happiness always be with you.

Captain,
you made our day to one of the most impressing day´s in our life´s. Your recommended location was so beautifull and harmoniously, it will stay in our memory for ever. The way you did the ceremony was touching and empathetic, the sand-ceremony was a very nice idea and symbolizes a partnership very well. All together, I think there is no better way to celabrate a wedding. Sonja and myself, as well as our friends, enjoyed this great day a lot. Thank´s for all the activites you made for us in preperation for this day. You fullfiled all our expectations more than 100%, everything was so smooth and perfect in time.
To everybody who reads this blog on Captain Arnold´s homepage – You can´t find anyone better than the Captain !!!

Dear Captain Arnold
Well, where should I start? I know ‘THANK YOU SO MUCH!’ We have been married for five weeks now and we are still smiling, laughing and sharing stories with our friends and family about how wonderful our wedding day was and that is all thanks to you.
From the minute we decided to get married at the Ladies Pavilion you made the whole process so enjoyable and easy.
Your words at our ceremony reflected both my and Stuarts outlook on our life together, past, present and future. You made our ceremony so special, thank you.
I could go on and on however I will just say, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Kindest regards

Her second email to me:
Hello Captain Arnold
I have just sent you an email for you to add to your website expressing how grateful we are for the wonderful ceremony.
I can honestly say everything about our wedding day was amazing, the ceremony, the flowers, cake, photographer everything was perfect! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Can you please pass on our thanks to Ashli, she was amazing on the day helping us to make sure we were at the right place and the right time, she was great with the bridesmaids as well especially the younger ones. Please tell her we will be eternally grateful.
I am sorry it has taken me so long to sit down and write this but life has been very hectic and this is the first chance I have had since getting home from NYC.
We have received all the paperwork from you (our marriage certificate, Apostille, a copy of our vows), thank you for organizing and posting it all to us.
Again, thank you so much and we will never forget everything you have done for us. I will be recommending you to everyone I know so don’t be surprised if more people from Glasgow contact you!! 🙂

Married at the “Ladies Pavilion” (Central Park, New York)
Dear Captain Arnold,
We were very happy to receive our marriage certificate and vows yesterday in the mail. We had a fantastic time in New York for the wedding and were so lucky with the weather in the end. We would like to thank you so much for our amazing ceremony. Organizing everything via email from Switzerland was a little nerve wracking but on the day you had organized everything so perfectly and, as you told me, took all the stress out of the day! The Ladies Pavilion was such a great location for the ceremony and luckily as you had sorted out the permit we were able to kick those people out who were having their picnic! Although they took it very well :o) I think the ceremony was far more than we ever imagined, the words were very heartfelt and you spoke from your experience of 53 years of marriage, and also injected a bit of humour which was great. The vows were really perfect and encompassed everything we wanted to say to each other so we will really cherish them. All of our guests loved the ceremony and one couple in particular fell in love with New York so maybe we can persuade them to follow in our footsteps…you can be sure they will be in contact with you if they do!
Many thanks again from a happily married couple

Dear Captain Arnold,
We just wanted to let you know that you made our wedding ceremony a truly personal and touching experience. Every single one of our guests have called us since the wedding and have told us how much they enjoyed the beautiful vows and words of wisdom that you spoke that day.
We both look back to that day and we can’t help but think how lucky we were that we got married on a beautiful, sunny day in Central Park, surrounded by our loved ones.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making that possible and for making that moment in time so unforgettable.
Sincerely,
Lennon Arcaro and Alina Tarkhanian

Married at the “Ladies Pavilion” (Central Park, New York City, NY)
Dear Captain Arnold,
We both wanted to thank you so much for marrying us last month.
Finally being together after years of a transatlantic relationship meant we just wanted was to be married; we didn’t need a fuss, we didn’t need lots of guests and we didn’t need to throw lots of money at it. We went to City Hall in Manhattan to get our marriage license on the Friday but as soon as I stepped in there I knew I couldn’t get married there. It was cold, unromantic, a conveyor belt for weddings. I was a bride that didn’t want a fuss, but it still had to be special. I went into panic mode-my Mum had flown over for the wedding and Matthew only had a few precious days booked that he could take off work.
I got home and got straight on the Internet. I called a few places and they didn’t seem to be listening to what we wanted, insisting on overpriced ’packages’. Then by chance we found your website and I called imagining it would be too late. However, you were not at all phased by arranging a wedding in the less that 48 hours. You handled everything with a calm, unshakable organization and recommended the stunning location of the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park.
When the day came the sun shone for the first time in weeks, the autumn gold of the trees reflected over Central park and the skyline of Manhattan peaked behind them. It was like a movie set.
Your ceremony was just what we wanted; you incorporated both my father and Matthew’s mother-who are no longer with us- with dignity and grace. The ceremony had humor and character and was the perfect length. You spoke about love with the wisdom and conviction only a man married for decades can do. We got some fantastic pictures afterwards to remind us for always.
Thank you again for being the one person that made two people in love very happy on the autumn day the sun came out in New York City.
