Dear Captain Arnold,
Please accept my apology that we have not reached out sooner to extend our gratitude for the beautiful wedding ceremony you conducted for Wil and I on June 25th, 2016. The past 7 weeks have been quite the whirlwind between adjusting to married life and honeymooning in Mexico =)
As you may recall, Wil and I are high school sweethearts and have been together for 16 years now- literally half of our lives- therefore we did not take the decision of who would be Officiating our wedding lightly! Once we watched some of the videos and testimonials on your website (www.nauticalweddingbells.com), we knew we had found our man.
From the attention to detail you demonstrated, to making yourself available in the event we had any questions- no matter how silly- we were confident from the get-go that we had gotten it right. And then the BIG DAY came, and we couldn’t have been more touched by the ceremony. Despite doing this for the umpteenth time (I cannot recall what number ceremony this actually was for you!), you still managed to make us feel like the only two people in the world at that moment. Wil and I both remarked afterward how we hung on every word, trying to take it all in, while also appreciating the comic relief you provided to keep our guests entertained. And then a few days afterward we were astounded to receive 2 of your personal photographs from the wedding and a lovely congratulatory letter in the mail- talk about five-star service!
In summation, we are forever grateful to you for making our most special day more memorable than we could have ever imagined…and as stress-free as possible! Thanks again for your professionalism; you have truly found your calling in life.
Sincerely Yours,
Judi & Wil Fleming

First, this email came:
Dear Captain Arnold,
I hope you are well. I think of our wedding day everyday, especially the ceremony, and I am eternally grateful for you. I am unable to submit my letter of appreciation to your website. Perhaps that is something you have to do on your end. Please let me know if I can do it on my end and what the link is. Otherwise, here is my letter to you.
with much heartfelt appreciation,
Lauren Finalborgo

More important than the flowers or the color of the tablecloth…
the wedding officiant.
Dear Captain Arnold,
‘Thank you’ does not begin to express my and my husband’s deep gratitude for you and the beautiful wedding ceremony that you performed for us. Perfect is a word that I rarely use since few things in life truly are. Yet, that is how I would describe my wedding ceremony…perfect.
I knew from the first conversation with you that you were ‘it’. You were going to be the one to marry us. I felt an immediate connection and it felt right in my gut. Along with all of the research that showed your outstanding ability as an officiant, I knew choosing you as our officiant was the right choice. You have such a presence about you. You provided such a calmness that I needed in planning my wedding with just a touch of humor too, that was just right. You were available 24/7 and always had all of the information that I requested (including information that I hadn’t even thought about). You never made me feel that I was a bother or that you were too busy. You were thorough and gave me the security I needed as a bride-to-be. Billy and I felt so comfortable with you and enjoyed our meeting with you.
Also, I am so appreciative of the wedding package you sent about a week after our wedding. The vows printed on beautiful paper brought me to tears, the good kind, and I will frame it. Your guidance continued after our wedding day, by providing an after the wedding checklist which was so helpful.
Both sides of our family loved the touching ceremony and can’t believe how ‘amazing’ it was. Our wedding ceremony has and will continue to give us our best memories. The wedding ceremony, the most important part of the wedding, was a blessing. You have touched our lives forever and forever we are grateful.
with love,
Lauren & William

Robert Loo wrote a review on Facebook about Nautical Wedding Bells & Captain Arnold:
Captain Arnold was the best! He was a huge highlight of our secular James Bond wedding and his speech about love and devotion nearly brought everyone to tears. We would highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks again Captain!

Hello Captain Arnold!
We absolutely had a blast on our first voyage as a couple! Between the fantastic wedding day and ceremony, the cruise itself, and having a week to spend with our family, it was honestly one of the best times of our lives.
Also, our family thought very highly of your ceremony. They (as well as ourselves) absolutely loved it and really appreciated the depth, detail, and heart that you put into it! I can attest that we are honored to have had you as our officiant and very appreciative of the way you led the ceremony.
In any event, we did receive your package recently in the mail and wanted to say thank you very much! We very much liked how you did up the vows and also really appreciate the photo and helpful information! We are definitely going to leave Tammi feedback as well, and would love to provide some for www.NauticalWeddingBells.com if we can as well!
I do hope we’ll meet again someday! In the meantime, I will definitely give Sam a big hug for you and wish you best of luck in your future endeavors! Have a great day Captain Arnold!
Sincerest Regards,
Nick & Samantha Labrecque
