    Hi Captain!

Sorry its taken a while to get back to you. Its has been a couple of hectic weeks with family, friends and coworkers since we got back from the honeymoon. The cruise was very nice indeed.

We would really like to thank you for the amazing ceremony in Central Park. Considering the fact that we had never spoken to you in person before the wedding day, we didn´t really know what to expect! The day turned out better then we ever could have hopped for!! So did everybody else that was there. Our realtives from Chicago remarked, “You know, we have been to several weddings at our church. Most of the time the Reverend have known the couple getting marreid their whole lifes, and still never gets close to the personal and loving feeling the Captain created!”.
Thank you for a great day!

    Dear Captain Arnold:

You conducted our wedding ceremony a little over a year ago on January 4th, 2008 aboard the “Explorer of the Seas”. On that day, there was a 3 hour delay before our ceremony and we had over 60 guests, that weren’t cruising, aboard to witness our ceremony.

You rose above all of the mayhem of the day and managed to pull off a beautiful ceremony for us and I wanted to let you know that Larry and I will never forget your professionalism and your ability to pretty much work magic on that day.

Once again Captain Arnold, from both of us…..we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

    Sincerely,
    Nicole & Larry Bailin

Married at the “Ladies Pavilion” (Central Park, New York City, NY)

    Dear Captain Arnold,

    Greetings from Memphis!

Wendy and I wanted to thank you again for everything! We can’t thank you enough for your helpful information, your assistance with the marriage license process, and your kindness and tender care for us from the moment we contacted you. And as a proud former Marine, I was only too happy to have a Coast Guard Chaplain in uniform able to perform our ceremony!

When Wendy and I finished the New York City marathon together in Central Park on November 4, 2007 that place became something incredibly special for us. And although we made the decision to fly back to New York from Memphis to have our wedding in Central Park, we were unsure about a suitable location within the park for our ceremony. Your suggestion of the Ladies Pavilion for the wedding ceremony was perfect. And the pavilion was not far from the finish line of the marathon!

As wonderful as those things were, it was your personalization of the ceremony and the depth and practicality of your counsel that truly made our wedding ceremony special beyond whatever we could have hoped for. The things you said during the ceremony are things we will always remember and strive to apply in our lives together. Thank you again for everything! We hope to hear from you soon!

God bless you and happy new year!

    Dear Capt. Arnold:

My wife and I want to thank you for such a wonderful marriage ceremony that you presided over on 30NOV07. Your words made our wedding ceremony special and unique, just as you had promised. Before the ceremony, you took the time and talked to us separately to help us relax and gave us words of wisdom. Your words of wisdom meant a great deal to us and will be in our hearts forever. During the ceremony, your words of how to keep a happy marriage and what love is about truly touched not only us but others in attendance. A lot of the people who were at the ceremony came up to us afterwards giving us nothing but praise. There were quite a few couples that told us that they felt as if you were talking to them and how much your words touched them.

Again, thank you so much for everything.

    Dear Captain Arnold,

We just had to write to thank you so very much for the beautiful ceremony you performed for us onboard the Explorer of the Seas. As we stood and listened to your words, it was as if they came right from your heart. Everyone who attended could not stop raving about how wonderful your service was, saying it was the best they’ve ever attended. That made us feel so good to hear that our guests were touched by you as much as we were. Thank you so much for being such an important part of our wedding day.

When we returned home, the package you sent us was here waiting. Thank you for sending us a beautiful copy of our vows, and for the photos too.

You have a special gift, thank you for sharing it with us! We are blessed to have met you.

Married at “The Gatsby” (Islip, NY)

    Dear Captain Arnold,

We just wanted to take a moment and thank you for the part you played in making our wedding day so special. Many of our guests told me that our ceremony was the best they had ever attended. It was a real hardship for Bruce’s mom to come to the wedding, but after the ceremony she told me that she would never have forgiven herself if she had missed such a beautiful service. As you know, you were recommended to us by the managerial staff at the Gatsby. Once I spoke to you, I was confident that you were going to do the right job for us. I know our ceremony was a little unique because it was a second marriage for both of us, and we both come from different religous backgrounds. As I had expressed to you, the goal of our wedding was to have our close friends and family celebrate with us as we formalized an eleven year relationship. We wanted our event to be memorable and fun. You gave us that and more. Your words completely captivated the audience. People laughed, couples held hands and I think we all took a few minutes to reflect on the true meaning of love. I think the addition of the unity candle and wine ceremonies brought an element of spirituality to the ceremony that was appreciated by all faiths. You told me to trust you to pick out beautiful vows that would make our ceremony special. You certainly lived up to your promise. I especially appreciated the fact that you sent us a copy of them as a keepsake. You are a true professional who clearly loves what he does. We are so glad that we chose you to play this very special role in our lives. Thank you for a day that was everything we wanted it to be.

    Sincerely,

    Kim & Bruce Kane
