You can go hear a band play, listen to them on a recording or video, or check out a live DJ. You can look at a photographer or videographer’s work in his studio and some will be happy to come to your home. You can even select your wedding cake from a photograph.
And let’s not forget the selection of the brides wedding dress and the groom’s tuxedo. Just another process that takes place during the planning stages of your wedding day.

We just wanted to take a moment and thank you for the part you played in making our wedding day so special. Many of our guests told me that our ceremony was the best they had ever attended. It was a real hardship for Bruce’s mom to come to the wedding, but after the ceremony, she told me that she would never have forgiven herself if she had missed such a beautiful service. As you know, you were recommended to us by the managerial staff at the Gatsby. Once I spoke to you, I was confident that you were going to do the right job for us. I know our ceremony was a little unique because it was a second marriage for both of us, and we both come from different religious backgrounds. As I had expressed to you, the goal of our wedding was to have our close friends and family celebrate with us as we formalized an eleven-year relationship. We wanted our event to be memorable and fun. You gave us that and more. Your words completely captivated the audience. People laughed, couples held hands and I think we all took a few minutes to reflect on the true meaning of love. I think the addition of the unity candle and wine ceremonies brought an element of spirituality to the ceremony that was appreciated by all faiths.You told me to trust you to pick out beautiful vows that would make our ceremony special. You certainly lived up to your promise. I especially appreciated the fact that you sent us a copy of them as a keepsake. You are a true professional who clearly loves what he does. Sorry, we did not write back to so soon after the cruise. We just looked at the calendar and realized it has been 3 weeks since you performed our wedding ceremony aboard The Skyline Princess in Flushing, NY. We are sorry it has taken us so long to write but our schedule has been as hectic after the wedding as it was before.
We wanted to thank you for all of your help prior to our wedding and more importantly, we want to thank you for making our special day memorable and magical. My grandmother and John’s mother were truly touched to have our deceased relatives mentioned during our ceremony. John keeps asking me if you and I spoke prior to your choosing the vows, that’s how fitting your beautiful words were. My guests keep remarking on how wonderful everything turned out.
For me, there was something deeply touching about reciting vows that seemed tailor-made for John & me while overlooking the water in our dockside ceremony.
